The National Service Authority has released the first batch of 2025/26 postings, deploying 85,159 personnel across Ghana. Registration runs from October 29 to November 21, with service beginning November 3, 2025.

The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially released the first batch of postings for the 2025/26 national service year, deploying a total of 85,159 personnel across various public and private institutions in Ghana. The announcement was made in a press release dated October 28, 2025, and signed by the Director-General, Dr Ruth Sedoh.

According to the statement, the deployed national service personnel were drawn from accredited tertiary institutions across the country. The National Service Authority explained that the figure excludes those with data mismatches as well as categories such as teachers, nurses, and midwives, whose placements will be released in subsequent batches. “As of today, Tuesday, 28th October 2025, a total of 85,159 personnel have been deployed to undertake their one-year mandatory service towards national development,” the statement read.

The NSA further provided detailed deployment data, noting that out of 150,937 uploaded students, 91,339 paid for PIN codes, 85,459 were verified with their Ghana Cards, and 85,159 successfully completed registration. It clarified that all personnel affected by data issues form part of a pending batch that will be released soon, bringing the total number of national service postings to increase in due course.

The Authority urged all prospective national service personnel to log onto its official website, gnsa.gov.gh, to check their postings, print appointment letters, and complete registration and validation at designated regional centres between October 29 and November 21, 2025.

The National Service Authority warned against dealing with middlemen or fraudulent agents for changes in postings, emphasizing that such practices are not sanctioned by management.

The statement concluded by reminding all personnel that the 2025/26 national service officially commences on Monday, November 3, 2025. The Authority called for patience and cooperation from the public as it continues the deployment exercise in phases to ensure a transparent and efficient posting process.
