Accra Circle phone dealer Nana Yaw Kyere aka Terry missing after Teshie deal. Suspicious WhatsApp messages deleted, Honda Civic recovered, 3 arrested.
UPDATE - Sept 24, 2026, 11 am: Popular Accra Circle phone dealer Nana Yaw Kyere, popularly known as Terry or Dinero, has been found dead in Teshie.
A family member confirmed to The Breaking Desk that his body was discovered on Wednesday morning, September 24, after a failed attempt to set it ablaze.
His Honda Civic with registration DV B9055 had earlier been recovered by police. Three suspects have already been arrested in connection with the case.
Friends mourn his demise
Terry, who trades at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, had been missing for three days after traveling to Teshie to complete a phone business transaction.
How he went missing
Around 12 am on Sunday, Terry sent a WhatsApp message to his colleague at Circle claiming he had been "set up" by a girl in a room at Teshie. He shared a photo of the room and his live location.
A revealed chat before his demise
His colleague became suspicious because the messages did not sound like Terry. Terry usually calls him "bro," but the sender used "boy". He asked if he was really talking to Terry.
At about 3 am, another message came from Terry's phone claiming he had been released and had left the location.
Hours later, Terry's family called the colleague to say that he had not returned home. Attempts to reach him failed. When the colleague checked the chat again, the photo and the live location had been deleted.
The family reported the case to police. Traders at Circle also mounted a search.
Police are yet to officially confirm the discovery of the body. Investigations are ongoing.
