Hisense Black Friday Promo: Staff Accused of Taking Bribes Before Serving Customers
A customer who visited the Hisense warehouse at the alleged Mataheko branch during the company’s Black Friday promotion has accused staff of demanding money before providing service.
According to the account, warehouse workers reportedly required customers to “motivate” them before allowing entry into the showroom.
After purchasing items, customers were again allegedly asked to provide additional payments before the staff would release the purchased goods from the warehouse.
The customer says many buyers complied out of fear that staff might claim the discounted items were “finished” if they refused to pay. This created an environment where shoppers felt coerced into offering bribes simply to be attended to or to receive goods they had already paid for.
These allegations raise serious concerns about customer treatment during high-demand sales periods. As of now, Hisense Ghana has not issued a public statement addressing the claims.
