Ato Forson and Haruna Iddrisu of Deliberately Failed WASSCE Students - Benghazi

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communications Team member, Benjamin Gyewu-Appiah, popularly known as Benghazi, has sparked controversy with claims that Finance Minister Dr. Ato Forson and Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu “deliberately failed” 2025 WASSCE candidates due to the government’s No Fees Stress Policy.

According to him, the policy has allegedly strained the education sector’s resources, leading to inadequate support for students and poor examination outcomes. His remarks add to ongoing political tensions surrounding the recently released WASSCE results, which have attracted widespread debate over student performance and government accountability.
