Three Arrested Over Liberian Man’s Death in Lashibi

The Ghana Police Service has confirmed the arrest of three individuals in connection with the death of 26-year-old Austin Tengeeh, a Liberian national, following an alleged assault at an apartment complex in Lashibi near Sakumono.

According to preliminary investigations, the incident occurred on February 27, 2026, after a caretaker reportedly accused the deceased of theft. The situation allegedly escalated, leading to a physical attack.

Police officers responded swiftly to the scene, but Tengeeh was pronounced dead upon arrival at Sakumono Community Hospital.

The suspects — Vincent Adzikah, 38; Francis Amuzu, 44; and William Addison, 34 — are currently in police custody assisting with investigations. A fourth suspect, Enoch Mensah, is reportedly on the run.

The Accra Regional Police Command has strongly cautioned the public against taking the law into their own hands and reiterated the importance of reporting suspected criminal activities to the appropriate authorities.

Investigations are ongoing.
