'Chairman Wontumi Will Be Freed Within Six Months'- Prophet Kwabena Okumdom Prophesies
Prophet Kwabena Okumdom has stirred debate on social media after sharing what he described as a fresh revelation concerning the fate of New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi.
In a video circulating online, the preacher claimed he had received a vision indicating that Wontumi would not spend a long time behind bars despite his recent prison sentence.
According to Prophet Okumdom, he saw Chairman Wontumi being released before completing six months of his sentence.
"I see Chairman Wontumi being released without even serving six months. A phone call from above is what I saw saving him from the 20-year sentence," the prophet claimed in the viral video.
The pastor further alleged that after his release, Wontumi would make a strong political comeback, particularly in the Ashanti Region.
He claimed that Wontumi would return with renewed influence and that "the grace of God" would once again rest upon him, causing his name to become widely discussed across the country.
The prophecy has generated mixed reactions online, with many social media users questioning the increasing number of public prophecies surrounding high-profile political figures.
One X (formerly Twitter) user criticized the prediction, writing:
"This is our problem as a country. Anyone can say something and wait for it to happen, then claim, 'I told you so.' These people are more than lotto forecasters."
Others, however, urged people not to dismiss the prophecy outright, saying only time would determine whether the prediction comes to pass.
