Man Arrested for Stealing Police Armoured Vehicle at Nkawie Market
A man identified as Ebenezer Frimpong has been arrested for allegedly stealing a Ghana Police Service armoured vehicle at Nkawie Market in the Ashanti Region.

According to reports, the incident occurred when the driver of the armoured vehicle briefly stepped out, leaving the engine running.

Seizing the opportunity, Frimpong allegedly jumped into the vehicle and drove off, causing panic among bystanders at the busy market.
Police quickly launched a pursuit and successfully intercepted the suspect near Mim, where he was arrested. The stolen armoured vehicle was also recovered without damage, and investigations are currently underway.
