Elder Brother Arrested for Stabbing 17-Year-Old Sibling to Death in Sekondi-Takoradi

The Western Regional Police Command has arrested a man, Anthony Acquah, for allegedly stabbing his 17-year-old brother, Francis Mensah, to death at Mampong, a community in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region.

According to a police statement, the incident occurred on Saturday, August 16, 2025, around 6:00 p.m. following a misunderstanding between the two brothers. In the heat of the altercation, Acquah allegedly pulled a knife and fatally stabbed Mensah before fleeing the scene.
