Dormaahene hails Mahama for setting Ghana in the right direction

The Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II, has praised President John Dramani Mahama. He believes Ghana is on the right path under his leadership.

In a popular video shared online, the traditional ruler said he will not support the NDC for personal reasons. However, he acknowledges the good policies that President Mahama introduced to improve the country.

“I will never support the NDC, I am not affiliated with them, and I will not support them till I die. I have, however, been an NPP member before. But with the way President Mahama is steering the country, anyone who claims it is not moving in the right direction is simply lying,” he stated.

Dr. Badu also pointed to Ghana’s economic progress, noting that the cedi currently trades at GH¢11.49 to the dollar, reflecting relative stability in the foreign exchange market since Mahama assumed office.

Among other notable achievements within his first 11 months in office, President Mahama instructed the Ministry of Finance to release GH¢1 billion to contractors owed since 2017, a move aimed at clearing longstanding debts and boosting economic activity.
