Court Jails Man 18 Years for Defiling and Sodomizing Three Siblings, Aged 11 and 4-Year-Old Twins
The Bekwai Circuit Court has handed an 18-year prison sentence to 28-year-old bicycle repairer Benjamin Kwabena, popularly known as Wofa Atta, for defiling three siblings-two boys aged 11 and 4, and their four-year-old twin sister.
Court records indicate that the convict took advantage of his close relationship with the children's mother to sexually abuse the victims.
The first child was abused on three occasions, the second on two occasions, while the third was abused once.
Wofa Atta, who lives at Ahenema Kokoben Island City near Trede, pleaded guilty to two charges of sexual abuse and was convicted and sentenced by the court based on his plea.
