Landlady Dies After Assault by Tenant in Agona Nyarkrom.
A tragic incident has been reported at Agona Nyakrom, where a landlady, identified as Madam Charlotte, has died following an alleged assault by Paa Kwesi, the grandson of one of her tenants.
According to eyewitness accounts, the incident began after the tenant reportedly defecated into a polythene bag due to stomach complications and left it at Madam Charlotte’s doorstep.
This act sparked outrage and led to a heated confrontation between the landlady and the tenant, during which accusations of gossip and disrespect were exchanged.
The situation reportedly escalated when the tenant’s grandson, Paa Kwesi, allegedly attacked Madam Charlotte with a belt during the argument. Shortly after the assault, the landlady’s condition deteriorated, with reports indicating she developed high blood pressure complications.
She was rushed to the Nyakrom Health Centre and later referred to another hospital for further treatment. Sadly, Madam Charlotte passed away after the referral. The incident has shocked residents of Agona Nyakrom, and it is expected that law enforcement agencies will investigate the circumstances surrounding her death as the community calls for justice.
