Remove All Other Flags When President Is Present – Dormaahene
Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II, Dormaahene has warned that he may begin collecting taxes independently if the government continues what he describes as the “projection” of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
His comments follow President John Mahama’s appearance with the Asantehene at the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards, where both the Asante Kingdom flag and the Ghana national flag were displayed.
He argued that President Mahama is the only leader of Ghana and that whenever the President is present at a public event, all other flags should be removed, leaving only the national flag of Ghana on display.
