20 Ghanaians Rescued from Human Trafficking Syndicate in Nigeria
20 Ghanaian Nationals Freed from Traffickers in Akwa Ibom, Nigeria.
Twenty Ghanaians — 10 males and 10 females — who were trafficked to the Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, have been rescued by operatives of the Akwa Ibom State Police Command.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Timfon John, confirmed the development in a statement issued in Uyo on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.
