On the evening of Monday, June 15, 2026, at approximately 7:15 PM, the IGP’s Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team closed in on the suspect. Following days of sustained, intelligence-led operations, thirty-nine-year-old Michael Mensah was apprehended at the Pedu Lorry Station in Cape Coast.

Mensah allegedly drove Innocentia to Hutchland Beach in Cape Coast, and according to investigators, this beach was the last place the young student was ever seen alive.
