We’ll suffer if Bawumia is not elected President in 2028 – KT Hammond
K.T. Hammond, former MP for Adansi Asokwa, has cautioned that Ghanaians could face tough times if former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is not elected President in 2028.
Speaking during Dr. Bawumia’s campaign tour in the Ashanti Region on September 10, Hammond praised the former vice president’s leadership and dismissed criticisms aimed at his religion.
“Look at Bawumia’s hard work and abilities. It’s sheer madness to say he can’t be President just because he is a Muslim. If he’s not elected, we will all suffer,” Hammond said.
He urged Ghanaians to focus on a leader’s competence and dedication rather than religious background when making their choice for the country’s next president.
