Haruna Iddrisu, Deputy Communications Minister Involved in Accident

Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu and Deputy Communications and Digital Technology Minister Mohammed Adams Sukparu are reported to be in stable condition after being involved in a road accident on the Bolgatanga–Tumu highway early Thursday, February 12.

The accident happened as the ministers and their convoy were en route to the Upper West Region to participate in the 40th anniversary celebrations of Tumu College of Education and Jahan College of Education.

All members of the convoy are currently receiving medical attention. Officials have confirmed that everyone involved in the accident is in stable condition.

In its statement, the Education Minister’s office conveyed appreciation to emergency responders, medical staff, and members of the public for their prompt assistance and support.
