GES Suspends Okadjakrom SHS Teacher Over Sexual Misconduct

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has suspended Mr. Mfo Richard Tibetor, a teacher at Okadjakrom Senior High Technical School in the Jasikan Municipality of the Oti Region, following allegations of sexual misconduct involving a female student.

The decision comes after a viral video on social media allegedly captured him in the act. The GES described his behavior as unacceptable, unethical, and a violation of the professional code of conduct for teachers.

As part of the disciplinary measures, Mr. Tibetor has been prohibited from accessing the school premises while investigations are underway. The GES emphasized its commitment to safeguarding students’ welfare and assured that any teacher found guilty of misconduct will face the appropriate legal and professional sanctions.
