Sharing Russian Man’s Intimate Videos Could Attract 1–3 Year Jail Term - CSA warns
The Cyber Security Authority (CSA) has cautioned the public against sharing or circulating intimate videos allegedly involving a Russian national and several Ghanaian women, warning that offenders could face between one and three years in prison under the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038).

According to the Authority, the distribution or transmission of such explicit content without consent constitutes a criminal offence under Ghanaian law.

The CSA stressed that anyone found creating, forwarding, reposting, or making the videos available on any digital platform will be liable to prosecution.

Authorities have therefore urged the public to refrain from engaging with or amplifying the content, emphasizing that digital misconduct carries serious legal consequences.
