Coventry City have reached a landmark agreement with FC Nordsjælland to sign Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi in a transfer package valued at up to €30 million.
The deal sets a financial high-water mark for domestic Danish football, surpassing all previous outbound transfers from the Superliga.
Under the terms negotiated between the two sides, the English club will guarantee an initial €27 million payout, with an additional €3 million structured around performance milestones.

Yirenkyi’s rapid emergence in Denmark highlighted his technical clarity and operational range in central midfield, qualities that established him as one of the league's top young performers last term. Developed within the Right to Dream Academy framework in Ghana before transitioning to Nordsjælland, the 20-year-old’s steady growth also earned him recognition on the international stage with the Black Stars.
