Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has openly admitted that the New Patriotic Party and government have not been perfect, conceding that mistakes were made along the way.

Addressing party delegates in the Ashanti Region, the Vice President said he, along with ministers, MPs, and appointees, bear responsibility for the challenges that have affected the nation.

With humility, he pleaded with Ghanaians to forgive them, stressing that they are genuinely sorry for the missteps that have left many disappointed.

He assured the public that these errors have been valuable lessons and promised they would not be repeated if entrusted with another opportunity to serve.

According to him, this apology is not just an expression of regret but a pledge to correct the past, rebuild trust, and prioritize the welfare of citizens in the days ahead.
