"I don’t have an ex; Paradise is not my ex," — Adjoa Tee.

"I don’t have an ex; Paradise is not my ex," — Adjoa Tee.

Social media influencer and content creator Tyson Sariyu Dornukie, widely known as Adjoa Tee, has set the internet ablaze after a controversial interview on Okay FM.

When questioned about her high-profile past relationship with Paradise, Adjoa Tee dropped a semantic bombshell that has completely rewritten the conventional rules of dating vocabulary.

During her live radio submission, she boldly declared that she currently does not have any exes. According to her logic, simply "having a thing to do" with Paradise or anyone else for that matter does not automatically qualify them for the title of an ex-partner once things end. Instead, she introduced a strict new standard for her relationship timeline.

"Until I marry, and having given birth to 3 or 4 children and maybe there's a divorce, that is when I will call that person an ex. In short, Paradise has never been my ex, despite us parting ways."

The "No Marriage, No Status" Philosophy

Adjoa Tee’s stance hinges on a profound distinction between casual dating and legal commitment. In her view, the label "ex" is a premium title reserved exclusively for a former spouse. Until a relationship crosses the legal threshold of marriage and subsequent divorce, her relational slate remains technically blank.

By refusing to legacy-brand her past flings, she effectively de-platforms casual partners from having a permanent stamp on her public life history. While standard dating conventions state that any exclusive partner becomes an ex upon a breakup, Adjoa Tee is entirely rejecting this framework.

What's your take? Is a partner only an "ex" if there was a ring involved, or is dating enough to earn the title? Let us know in the comments below!
