A Nigerian traveler has gone viral after expressing shock at the level of development and professionalism at Accra’s International Airport, comparing it to his experience in Nigeria.
A Nigerian visitor to Ghana has shared his surprise after arriving at Accra International Airport.
In a video, he expressed shock at the level of development and beautification at the airport, comparing it to Murtala Muhammed International Airport. He stated that Ghana appears to be far ahead of Nigeria in terms of infrastructure, describing the airport environment and staff as highly professional and presentable.
He admitted that he previously underestimated Ghana while boasting about Nigeria, but his experience has changed his perspective.
He also noted that from the moment he arrived, no one at the airport asked him for money, something he found surprising.
According to him, this is quite different from his experience in Nigeria, where he claims people often solicit money immediately upon arrival.
However, he ended by questioning whether Ghanaians are simply more financially stable or if Nigerians are too comfortable asking for money, saying he was left puzzled by the contrast.
