The directive was issued after a high-level meeting between the president and heads of Ghana’s security agencies. The move is part of efforts to strengthen the country’s security architecture while also creating employment opportunities for young people across the country.

According to sources familiar with the meeting, the expanded recruitment will cover key security institutions including the Ghana Armed Forces, the Ghana Police Service, the Ghana Immigration Service, and the Ghana National Fire Service.
