The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially responded to a disturbing video circulating on social media involving an alleged sexual relationship between a teacher and a student at Bole Senior High School (SHS) in the Savannah Region.

In an official press release dated June 16, 2026, signed by Head of Public Relations Daniel Fenyi, the management of GES confirmed they are aware of the footage and have launched a formal investigation into the matter.

Taking swift disciplinary action, the GES has ordered the immediate interdiction of the accused teacher while the investigation unfolds. This move aligns with standard GES rules and regulations regarding severe professional misconduct.
