Daddy Lumba Left No Registered Will - High Court
The High Court in Accra has confirmed that no last will and testament has been officially lodged by the late highlife legend Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, widely known as Daddy Lumba, at the Probate and Administration Division.
The confirmation followed a formal registry search conducted as part of ongoing legal steps to determine how the celebrated musician’s estate should be managed. The search aimed to establish whether Daddy Lumba had deposited a will with the court, including details such as the filing date, the person who submitted it, and the legal practitioner involved.
According to an official response issued by the registry on January 19, 2026, at 2:37 p.m., no such document exists on record. The confirmation, signed and stamped by the Registrar of the Probate and Administration Division, stated clearly that the court holds no registered will in the late artist’s name.
In the absence of a formally deposited will, Daddy Lumba’s estate is expected to be administered in accordance with Ghana’s intestate succession laws, unless a valid will emerges from another lawful source outside the court registry.
