Burkina Faso Grants Visa-Free Entry to All Africans to Boost Unity and Trade

Burkina Faso’s military leader, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, has declared that all African nationals will now be able to enter the country without a visa. Announcing the policy shift, Traoré emphasized that the decision is rooted in the spirit of pan-Africanism, aimed at fostering greater unity among African nations while also boosting trade and tourism. The move aligns with the African Union’s Free Movement Protocol, which seeks to make travel across the continent easier for citizens of member states.
