The Ashanti Regional Co-ordinating Council (ARCC) has urged residents who took parts from the helicopter that crashed last Wednesday to return them immediately.

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Frank Amoakohene officially writes to inform all persons who took parts of the Helicopter to their homes as scraps to return them.

According to intelligence reports, some individuals at the scene collected items such as metal pieces, screws, drives, and circuit boards.

The ARCC says these items can be handed over to local authorities, assembly members, municipal or district chief executives, or members of the investigation team. A cash reward will be offered to anyone who returns the items before Monday, 11 August 2025.

The Council warned that anyone found in possession of the items after the deadline will be treated as a criminal and prosecuted.
